Herdy's Frontyard Ultra
Herdy's Frontyard Ultra is a Backyard Ultra held at Herdsman Lake in Herdsman, Western Australia on Friday March 12, 2027. The event uses a single loop course of 6.71 km that competitors must complete each hour. Runners start a new lap on the hour, every hour, continuing until only one runner remains who completes a final loop alone.
The format records a DNF for any runner who fails to complete a loop within the hour or who chooses not to continue. The cumulative distance after 24 hours of loops equals 100 miles on this course. The event is presented within the Ultra Series Australia program and is described as the world's biggest Backyard Ultra.
