Lighthorse Ultra
The Lighthorse Ultra is a timed loop ultramarathon held in the Northern Suburbs of Perth at Perry's Paddock, 1198 Ocean Reef Road, Woodvale WA 6026. The event runs across two days on 5 and 6 September 2026 and uses a 2.5 km circuit composed of limestone, boardwalk and asphalt.
Races are offered as timed events with multiple durations. The distances include:
- 3 hour
- 6 hour
- 12 hour
- 24 hour
An annual dawn service is held in the fields of Perry's Paddock before the races, during which the last post and reveille are played. The event provides a heavily discounted entry fee of $25 for past and present service men and women regardless of nationality; this is described as an ongoing tradition. The event partners with the charity Soldiers & Sirens. Hundreds of community runners typically take part alongside service personnel.
