Qi Gong is a trail running event organised by Perth Trail Series on 7 December at Wungong Regional Park, 218 Admiral Road, Bedfordale, WA 6112. The event ticket range is $30.00 to $97.00, with individual course prices listed as Black $87, Blue $77, Green $64, PTS Kids/Teens/U16 Blue $37 and PTS Kids/Teens/U16 Green $30. The venue includes a village at the start/finish. Drummers will be present at the location. Food trucks will be available and there is space for BBQs.

Registration will remain open until the Tuesday prior to the event unless the event sells out. An Event Brief email is sent the Wednesday before the event. Bib pickup is on race day at the start/finish area.

Courses, age rules and race logistics

The event uses a colour-coded course system with the following distance ranges:

  • Green: 4-6 km
  • Blue: 9-12 km
  • Black: 12-16 km

Children have minimum age and experience requirements. Green course minimum age is 6 years; children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Blue course minimum age is 12 years; a child must have completed three Green events and be accompanied by a parent or guardian the first time on Blue. Black course minimum age is 16 years; a child must have completed three Blue events and be accompanied by a parent or guardian the first time on Black.
