Truth or Consequences : Perth Trail Series
Truth or Consequences is a trail running event on Sunday 2 August 2026 at Serpentine NP. It is part of the Perth Trail Series Winter Series Event number 4 and offers marked courses on remote singletrack, including the Kitty Gorge trail and nearby waterfalls.
The event uses a colour coded course system:
- Green: 6 km, +/- 190 m elevation
- Blue: 11.8 km, +/- 500 m elevation
- Black: 25 km, +/- 800 m elevation
- Double Black: 50 km, +/- 1600 m elevation
A hiking option is available on the Black course so participants can complete the route at walking pace. Course markings and pre-event information are provided by the organiser. Event bib pickup is on race day at the start and finish village. An event brief is emailed the Wednesday prior to the event.
The start and finish area includes a village atmosphere with drummers, food trucks and barbecue facilities for spectators and participants. Registration remains open until the Tuesday before the event unless the event sells out. Participants may change to a shorter distance on the day by notifying event staff.
Minimum age and experience requirements apply for children. Green course minimum age is 6 with parental accompaniment for under 12. Blue course minimum age is 12 with prior Green experience and accompaniment for the first Blue. Black course minimum age is 16 with prior Blue experience and accompaniment for the first Black.
