Truth or Consequences
Truth or Consequences is a Perth Trail Series event held at Serpentine National Park with multiple marked trail courses and a start / finish village. The site includes trail sections through Kitty Gorge, a waterfall area, and a village with music, food trucks and barbecue facilities for spectators and companions.
The event offers a range of course lengths on remote trail with approximate elevation changes:
- 4.9 km Green Course, approx 100 m elevation change on remote trail
- 10.1 km Blue Course, approx 260 m elevation change on remote trail
- 24.6 km Black Course, approx 820 m elevation change on remote trail
- 50 km Double Black Course, approx 1670 m elevation change on remote trail
Course options include a Black Course hiking option that allows participants to complete the longer route at a walking pace. Participants may request to drop to a shorter distance on the day. Organisers provide course markings and an event brief that is sent the Wednesday prior to the event. Bib pickup is on race day at the start / finish area.
Registration remains open until the Tuesday prior to the event unless sold out earlier. Minimum age and experience requirements apply: Green minimum age 6 with under 12s accompanied by a parent or guardian; Blue minimum age 12 with prior Green events and accompanied first time; Black minimum age 16 with prior Blue events and accompanied first time; Hike Course minimum age 10.
