Jolly Jumbuck Trail Event

The Jolly Jumbuck is a trail running event held at the State Equestrian Centre in Brigadoon, Western Australia. Participants navigate trails that pass through the Bells Rapids area. The event village features food trucks and on-site shower facilities for use after the run.

The event offers three distinct distance categories based on a color-coded system:

  • Green Course: Distances range from 5km to 7km on remote trails.
  • Blue Course: Distances range from 10km to 15km on remote trails.
  • Black Course: Distances range from 20km to 25km on remote trails.

Registration remains open until the Tuesday prior to the event, unless capacity is reached earlier. All participants must collect their event bibs on the morning of the race at the start and finish area. A mandatory event briefing takes place ten minutes before each course start.

Specific age and experience requirements apply to younger participants. Children must be at least 6 years old for the Green course, 12 years old for the Blue course, and 16 years old for the Black course. Requirements for adult supervision and prior event completion vary depending on the chosen distance and the age of the runner. The course is marked by the organizers to guide participants throughout the remote trail sections. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
