Course details and facilities
There are two USATF-certified loop courses. The short course is 1.17078 miles per loop and is roughly 95% asphalt/concrete and 5% crushed gravel; its cutoff is 48 hours. The long course is approximately 2.3094 miles per loop with about 72 feet total elevation gain per loop and a 30-hour cutoff for the 100-mile option; an early-start option extends that limit to 32 hours. The park includes a 31-acre lake, multiple staging areas along the main "Jackpot Strip," a 20x20 foot warming tent called Town Hall with communal cots (three-hour nap limit), and no shower facilities.
Rules, services and awards
The 2026 event will host the USATF 100 Mile Road Championship on the certified short course; championship entrants must hold current USATF membership and U.S. citizenship to be eligible for awards. Pacers are not permitted for the USATF championship; pacers are allowed on the long course at night (one at a time, on foot). The race is cupless; runners should bring a bottle or reusable cup. A $4,000 prize purse is allocated to top men and women in the USATF 100-mile championship (1st $1,200; 2nd $500; 3rd $300). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
