Trail Trashed Ultra

Trail Trashed Ultra is organized by Triple Dare Running Company and takes place on trails near Henderson and Las Vegas. The 2026 course layout is approximately 5.5 miles and uses sections of the McCullough Hills and 601 trail systems.

The route combines wide, groomed trail sections and single-track with views of Las Vegas, Henderson, surrounding mountains, valleys, and ravines. Aid stations on course provide electrolytes and a selection of nutrition including Clif bars and GU products. Hot food is available at the staging area and the hub aid station; typical offerings include grilled items, hot pasta or casseroles, and vegetarian and vegan options. Additional salty snacks will be available on course and at the staging area.

Beer and micheladas are offered after the event; participants must present ID for alcohol and non-participants may donate a stated amount for access to drinks. Packet pickup happens at the staging area before the race. Volunteers can earn race credit at a stated hourly rate. Awards are given for male and female finishers, 1st through 3rd, for each distance, and race shirts and medals are provided for all runners.

If the event is canceled or postponed, entries are transferable to another Triple Dare Running Company event; refunds are not issued. Virtual entrants can submit an official time by email for posting and will be mailed a shirt and medal after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
