The Bootleg Boogie takes place Saturday, Jan 31, 2026, at Bootleg Canyon near Boulder City, NV, by Lake Mead. Registration closes Fri, Jan 30 at 11:59 PM PT. Packet pickup is at the start/finish: Friday afternoon 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturday morning at 5:30 AM. Race day registration is accepted until 30 minutes before each distance starts. Camping is permitted at the base camp and nearby starting areas Thursday through Monday morning on a first-come basis at no cost.

Distances

  • 100 miles - 8 laps of the course.
  • 50 miles - 4 laps of the course.
  • Half Marathon - 1 lap plus a 0.62-mile bonus section.

Course and support

The course is a 12.5-mile loop with about 2,000 feet of elevation gain per lap and over 90% singletrack. Terrain includes punchy climbs, technical sections, and a notable ascent up Black Mountain. Nighttime sections offer distant views of the Las Vegas Strip.

Support includes three aid stations: two full-service stations with electrolytes, salty snacks, and hot food overnight, plus one additional hydration-and-fuel station. Crews are allowed at all points on course. Pacers are permitted after mile 37.5 for the 50- and 100-mile races. Parking is available at the base camp and at the veterans aid station. Finisher awards include a custom belt buckle for 100-milers, medals for 50-milers and half marathoners, a race T-shirt for all, and podium prizes; $5,000 is currently allocated for top 100-mile finishers. Ring in the New Year at the Resolution Run in northwest Las Vegas with scenic courses near Red Rock. Choose 10K, 5K or 1 mile in person or virtual and cross the finish for a shirt and medal.
