Hull Culture Run II

This is a six hour timed challenge held at Poorhouse Lane, Hull. Participants may run distances from 5 km up to an ultra marathon within the time limit. The event uses a measured lap of 4.37 miles with a 5 km turn point; a 10 km uses two laps of the 5 km route, a half marathon is three laps of the 4.37 mile course, a marathon is six laps, and seven laps or more count as an ultra marathon.

There is an aid table at the end of each lap offering water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of foods such as sweets, biscuits and grapes for self-service each lap. Runners may start their final lap up to 5:59:59 hours after their clock begins. The course is mostly on tarmac along an old railway line with a short section of trail; it is an out and back route with no navigation required.

Toilets are provided at a nearby leisure facility. Parking is available in the Preston Road parking bays near Poorhouse Lane and is a short walk from the start area; there are parking restrictions for local business car parks and along Poorhouse Lane. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag. The event is licensed by the TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
