The Huckleberry Jam Point-To-Point is a running event on Sunday, April 26, 2026. It is the third event in the 2026 RunAbout Race Series. The event features point-to-point courses on the Huckleberry Trail, finishing at the Christiansburg Recreation Center.

Course Details

The 8.1-mile course begins on a path behind RunAbout Sports, connects to the Huckleberry Trail, and follows it to the finish. Two aid stations provide water and sports drink at approximately 2.4 miles and 6.5 miles. The 1.75-mile course covers the final section of the longer route, starting on the trail next to the Kohl's parking lot at the mall and finishing at the recreation center. An aid station is available at the start line of this race. Both courses are described as stroller-friendly. Dogs are not permitted on the course.

Logistics and Charitable Cause

All finishers receive a railroad spike finisher award. Age group and overall awards are given for the 8.1-mile race. A fee-based shuttle service is available to transport participants from the finish line back to the start areas. RunAbout Sports donates all net proceeds from the race to the Friends of the Huckleberry Trail, a group that funds the engineering, construction, and amenities of the trail.
