Green Man Trail Run

The Green Man Trail Run is a one-day trail running event on 6 June 2026 set in and around the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Event headquarters are at The Green Man, Silk Mill Lane, Inglewhite, Preston PR3 2LP. The event is organised by Fylde Coast Runners.

There are two distance options:

  • 15k : Affiliated £28, Non affiliated £30
  • 10k : Affiliated £23, Non affiliated £25

The minimum age to enter is 17 or older, relative to the event date. Entries open 1 April 2026 and close 4 June 2026; entries are managed through the SiEntries system and require a registered account.

Facilities and services listed for the event include a signed course, chip timing, a technical t shirt, finisher goodies, and an on course water station. Trail runs nearby

A 50 mile supported trail race from Manchester to Liverpool along the Trans-Pennine Trail with six checkpoints, mandatory kit, live GPS tracking and a 14 hour cut off. Entrants must be 20 or older and have completed a marathon.

A fell race in Horwich on 4 April 2026 organised by Horwich RMI Harriers with registration at the Crown Public House and start and finish at Lever Park Avenue; junior entrants under 16 must enter the junior race.

A short fell race in Haworth on 7 April 2026 covering 4.8 km with about 100 m of climb; finishers receive a Cadbury's Creme Egg and prizes are Easter eggs. Entry is possible on the day or by pre-entry for the series.
