The Green Man Trail is a trail running event held at The Green Man at Inglewhite, Silk Mill Ln, Inglewhite, Preston PR3 2LP. The event offers two waymarked trail distances and operates with chip timing, aid stations and full medical cover. Free event photos are provided and all routes are fully signed.

Entry is by online registration only; postal entries are not accepted. The minimum age for entry is 17. Entry fees are listed as £30 for the 15K and £25 for the 10K, with a potential higher fee for entries on the day. Payments are accepted by major credit and debit cards and processed via Stripe. Entry includes race administration, a bib and chip timing tag, marked route, medical support and on-site parking included in the fee. Race headquarters provides registration, toilets and baggage storage.

On course support includes bottled water at an aid station with a designated collection point about 100 metres beyond the station where bottles must be discarded. Medical staff from Remote Medical Services and radio-linked stewards will provide on-site assistance. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and technical t-shirt. A 10 km category BS fell race from Hebden Bridge with about 350 m of ascent, a steep climb to Stoodley Pike and a flagged route over moor, trail and wooded tracks. Entries include individual and three-person team options.

Tackle Paddy's Pole fell race in the Bowland fells near Chipping, Lancs, a punchy 6 km with 336 m climb that rewards hill legs. Pre entry is required, entries limited to 140 so book early and consider car sharing as parking is limited.

A 5.3 mile fell race with 1099 ft of ascent around Rivington Hall Barn grounds, featuring road, rough trail and open moor. Entry on the day is available for a cash fee and FRA kit rules apply.

Pen Y Ghent opens the Yorkshire Dales Classics with an AM mountain course of about 12.2 km and 500 m climb around Horton in Ribblesdale. The race follows open footpaths, is run under FRA rules with mandatory kit and has a 350 runner limit.
