Great Springs Trail Race - Austin
The Great Springs Trail Race takes place on March 7, 2026 at Southeast Metro Park, 4511 Highway 71 East, Del Valle, TX. The event uses a well marked looped trail network inside a large city park with playgrounds, sports fields, ample parking and shade trees.

The main loop is a 6.5 mile circuit that begins on a rocky jeep road and includes a half mile of downhill rock, a short two way traffic section, a steep punchy climb followed by a steep descent, and wooded single track along Onion Creek. Each loop has about 640 feet of elevation gain. The midway Pump Aid Station provides snacks and drink options. There is one on course aid station plus the start finish aid area.
Race operations note that the event is cupless, so participants are expected to carry a cup or bottle; collapsible cups are available for purchase at packet pickup. Drop bags are not provided on course and items should be left near the race hub rather than on the trail. Chip timing is used with ankle worn chips and official rankings use gun time. Pacers are not allowed. The race supports the Great Springs Project and works with the Travis County Parks Foundation. February 10 is the cutoff to receive a shirt with registration.
