This event is Canicross friendly for the 5 mile and 10 mile races only. One well-controlled dog per runner is allowed and dogs must remain on a lead at all times. Route maps are provided for the family 1 mile, the 5 mile, and the 10 mile (two laps).

Race services and finish

All finishers receive a bespoke event bauble or medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a festive snack and drink; children receive a selection box. The Forfar Multi-Terrain will take place in Forfar on Sunday 1 February 2026. You can run 21 kilometers.

Night hill running around Glenshee ski station on compact piste snow, with 6.5 km and 11.5 km circuit options. Participants must carry winter mountain kit and meet fitness and experience requirements.

Scenic trail runs at Scone Palace with 5 km and 10 km options, chip timing, on-course route maps, and provisions for one controlled dog per runner. Finishers receive a medal, merchandise, and a drink and snack.

A rugged 55 mile circular trail across Perthshire with 2,250 metres of ascent and UTMB qualifying points. Self sufficient race starts and finishes at Gulabin Lodge, ending with a dramatic climb to An Lairig Pass and stunning views.
