Overview

The Ultra Scotland 50 is a 56-mile (approximately 90 km) trail ultramarathon with 2,447 meters of ascent. It follows the Southern Upland Way trail in Scotland.

Event Details

The race starts in St. John's Town of Dalry and finishes at Moffat Rugby Club. It has a 20-hour overall cut-off time. There are six checkpoints along the route, with two being water-only stations.

Participation Requirements

Entrants must be at least 20 years old and in good health. Proof of having completed an organized marathon-distance event prior to race day is required. There is an entry fee of £119.

Support & Logistics

The event provides live online GPS tracking. Refreshments are available at most checkpoints, and indoor checkpoints offer hot food. A drop bag service is available, and optional coach transport back to the start can be pre-booked. A parking and camping field is available at the start location. Pacers and support runners are not permitted.
