Bruce's Crown Race is a challenging 46-mile team event held in Caldons, near Glentrool in Galloway, Scotland. Teams of 2 to 4 participants traverse three hill ranges—the Minnigaff Hills, Rhinns of Kells, and the Awful Hand—climbing over 4000 meters. The classic route offers stunning 360-degree views, including sights of the Southern Highlands, Lake District, Snowdonia, and more.
The course features rugged terrain with few paths, requiring strong navigation skills. Support includes three manned checkpoints providing hot food and drinks, plus mountain rescue teams for safety.
