Forest Park Runners Classic 4 Mile Road and Trail Race
The Forest Park Runners Classic is a four mile road and trail race on May 24, 2026 in Woodhaven, NY. The event is based at the Victory Field track at the corner of Woodhaven Boulevard and Myrtle Avenue and uses routes through the roads and wooded horse trails of Forest Park.
The course is an out and back four mile loop that starts and finishes on the Victory Field track. Split times are recorded at each mile and race timing is provided with MyLaps chip timing and timing mats. An overhead finish clock will be present and results are posted on site and on Runsignup.com.
Registration opens December 1, 2025 and closes May 23, 2026. The standard registration fee is $40 until May 23 and increases to $50 for day of or late registration. Day of bib pickup, baggage check, and late registration take place at the Victory Field track on race day. The field is capped at 500 entrants.
All pre-registrants are guaranteed a custom technical shirt; day of entrants receive shirts while supplies last. Custom finisher medals are provided to four mile finishers. The event includes a post race raffle, post race refreshments including bagels, fruit, Gatorade and water, and water stations on course.
Cash awards and trophies are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and age group trophies are awarded to the top three in each age bracket. No duplication of awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
