Forest Park Runners Classic 4 Mile Road and Trail Race

The Forest Park Runners Classic is scheduled for May 24, 2026, at Victory Field Track at the corner of Woodhaven Boulevard and Myrtle Avenue in Woodhaven, Queens, NY. The event features a single 4 mile out-and-back loop that uses both park roads and wooded horse trails, with the start and finish on the Victory Field track.

Race timing includes split times at each mile and chip timing with timing mats; an overhead clock will display finish times and results are posted on site and online. Day-of-race bib pickup, baggage check and late registration take place at Victory Field Track on race day. Parking is available at the Forest Park Bandshell and on nearby streets.

Pre-registrants are guaranteed a custom technical T-shirt; day-of entrants receive shirts while supplies last. Custom medals are provided to four-mile finishers. A post-race raffle will be held; winners must be present to claim prizes. Entry is capped at 500 participants.

Cash awards and trophies are offered: $100 and a jumbo trophy to the first overall male and female, $75 and a jumbo trophy to second overall, and $50 and a jumbo trophy to third overall. Age-group trophies are awarded to the top three in each listed male and female age group, with no duplication of awards. Post-race refreshments include bagels, apples, bananas, Gatorade and water, and water is available on the course.

Online registration is $40 until May 23 and increases to $50 thereafter and on race day. A running club/team option is available and groups of eight or more same-team entrants may qualify for a group discount. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
