MCW Westfield Ultra

MCW Westfield Ultra : Tamaques Park, Westfield, NJ

The fifth annual MissionCleanWater Westfield Ultra is a loop-based endurance event at Tamaques Park. Participants choose from multiple timed events and complete as many loops as possible. One loop is 0.8 miles and runners may use pavement or gravel.

• 24 Hour event
• 12 Hour event
• 9 Hour event
• 6 Hour event
• 3 Hour event

The start and finish are located at the main parking lot next to the tennis courts and playground. That location provides participant parking and restrooms. Runners may station gear, coolers, and shade cover near the start location for their own supplies.

Support crews and pacers are allowed. Crews may bring shade canopies, tents, coolers, and food; each support member is asked to make a small donation to MissionCleanWater. An aid station at the start/finish supplies snacks, prepared food, ice, water, electrolytes, GI supplies, first aid, and hot weather gear. Participants in the shorter events are asked to leave prepared food for longer-event participants.

Rules for the 24-hour event include mandatory headlamps and reflective vests at night, tent setup only for 24-hour participants close to sundown, limited night travel for support teams, and quiet hours beginning at 8 pm.

MissionCleanWater is a 501c3 nonprofit focused on clean water and sanitation projects. A fundraising option offers a full refund and guaranteed future entry for participants who raise $500. Refunds are otherwise not offered except for injury or meeting the fundraising requirement. If registration occurs after July 15, a race medal cannot be guaranteed.
