SOMO Winter Trail Series - NJ Trail Series
The event takes place at South Mountain Reservation near 12 Bear Lane, South Orange, NJ 07079. The course uses existing fire roads, single track trail, hills and sections of pavement. Aid is provided approximately every three miles.
Distances are run on a looped course:
- 5K: one loop
- 10K: two loops
- 13.1 miles: four loops
Entry fees listed in event materials start at 5K $30, 10K $35, and 13.1M $40. Fees increase by $5 at later pricing tiers. Day of registration fees are 5K $45, 10K $50, and 13.1M $55. Day of payment options include cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. Race day registration is available.
There are no finishing medals; a giveaway will be held. The course design combines multiple surfaces and repeated loops to accommodate the three advertised distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
