Firelane Trail Trial is a hill-climbing time-trial held in Forest Park, Portland. The 4.45-mile out-and-back course runs up Firelane 1 to the top and back, with 1,266 feet of total gain and loss (about 2.23 miles uphill with 979 feet gain). It crosses Wildwood and Leif Erikson trails along the way.

The event uses wave starts with groups of ten every ten minutes, with up to 160 runners. After finishing, participants head to Great Notion Brewing for a livestream, live results, and a post-race party. Parking is limited; bib pickup is at the start.
