Tillamook Burn Trail Run : Reehers Camp, Tillamook State Forest

The Tillamook Burn Trail Run is a two-day spring trail event held May 16 and 17, 2026 at Reehers Camp in the Tillamook State Forest, in the northern Oregon Coast Range roughly halfway between Portland and the coast. The event offers multi-distance trail racing on single-track and forest roads through second-growth rainforest with waterfalls, stream crossings, abundant spring foliage, fiddleheads, blossoms, and visible snags and charred stumps from earlier forest fires.

Race options include:

  • 50 miles
  • 55K
  • 50M/55K double over two days

Race services included with the entry fee cover a fully marked course, parking at the staging area, chip timing and live finish results, full-service on-course aid stations, professional medical support, radio communications, a post-race meal and beverages, custom finisher awards, and event photography. There is a $12 shuttle bus fee for 50 mile runners who need transport from the main staging area to the start.

Event staging, parking, bib pickup and the finish are at historic Reehers Camp. Parking is day-use only with one vehicle allowed per participant; camping and overnight parking are not available to participants. Closest hotels are in Hillsboro and Forest Grove and nearby camping is available at Stub Stewart State Park. A portion of proceeds supports the NW Trail Alliance and the Tillamook Forest Heritage Trust. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
