Tillamook Burn Trail Run
The Tillamook Burn Trail Run is a spring trail race weekend in the Tillamook State Forest, staged at historic Reehers Camp. The event takes place on May 16 and 17, 2026, and features two trail race formats held over consecutive days.
The races:
- 50 miles point to point
- 55K lollipop-style route
Courses run through second-growth coastal forest with big firs, waterfalls, stream crossings, and visible snags and charred stumps from past wildfires. The 50 mile is a point to point route while the 55K uses a lollipop configuration.
Event services included with entry cover a fully marked course, parking at the staging area, chip timing with live finish results, staffed aid stations, professional medical support, radio communications, post-race meal and beverages, a custom finisher award, and professional race photography. A $20 shuttle bus pass is required for runners who need transport to the 50 mile start from the Reehers Camp staging area.
Parking at Reehers Camp is day use only; one vehicle per race participant is allowed and RVs or trailers are not permitted. Camping and overnight parking at Reehers Camp is reserved for race officials, sponsors, and volunteers only. Volunteers and trail work parties are part of pre-race preparation.
A portion of proceeds supports the NW Trail Alliance and the Tillamook Forest Heritage Trust State Forests Recreation Fund. The event includes a land acknowledgment for the Tillamook, Clatskanie and Atfalati Kalapuya peoples. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
