Stumptown Trail Runs
Forest Park, United States • 24-26 May 2025
Stumptown Trail Runs is a trail running event held over Memorial Day weekend in Portland's Forest Park, a 5,100-acre urban forest with over 80 miles of trails. The event features two distances: a challenging 50K race with nearly 4,000 feet of elevation gain, including the iconic Wildwood Trail and other lesser-known paths, and a hilly half marathon with about 1,800 to 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Both races offer a well-organized, supportive atmosphere with aid stations and post-race meals. The event benefits the Forest Park Conservancy and emphasizes environmental responsibility. It attracts up to 200 runners per distance, providing a unique opportunity to experience Portland's scenic backyard trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
