Stumptown Trail Runs takes place over Memorial Day weekend in Forest Park, Portland, Oregon. The event offers the following race distances:
- 50K
- Half Marathon
Forest Park is a municipal park in the Tualatin Mountains that covers about 5,100 acres and contains more than 80 miles of trails. The 50K route includes the Wildwood Trail and other park trails and has about 4,000' of elevation gain. The half marathon course includes hilly trail terrain with about 1,800' of gain and loss. These are running events, not walking races. Both races benefit the Forest Park Conservancy.
Race details and logistics
Field capacity is 200 entries per distance. Every finisher receives a Stumptown pint glass. The top three finishers in male, female, and non-binary categories receive prizes; age-group awards are given for 1st–3rd in 10-year categories. Race-day meals differ by distance: half marathon finishers are served grilled cheese and soup, and 50K finishers are served burgers. Spectator parking at aid stations is not allowed; parking is on neighborhood streets.
Registration opens November 1, 2025, and closes May 15. Published registration fees vary by date and distance. There are no refunds or transfers; cancellations more than 30 days before the race receive a 50% credit toward a future Go Beyond Racing event.
