PDX 50-50 - September 12, 2026
PDX 50-50 is a multi-distance running event organized by Run Pacifica in Portland, OR. The event starts at Brooklyn Park in southeast Portland near the uphill/10th Avenue side. There are nearby shops and a coffee shop across the street.
The route follows the Eastbank Esplanade to the Steel Bridge, continues through North Portland and Willamette Boulevard by the University of Portland, then crosses St Johns Bridge into Forest Park. The Ridge Trail section in Forest Park is about one mile long and is steeper, narrower, and more technical than the rest of the course. After Forest Park the route follows Leif Eriksen, passes Thurman Drive, moves through NW Portland with possible water and bathroom stops at Wallace Park and nearby businesses, and reaches the Sellwood Bridge at roughly mile 29.
At that point runners choose between two finish options. The longer option goes through River View Cemetery, Tryon Creek Park, the Terwilliger Trail, Lake Oswego, Mary S Young Park, Oregon City, and the Trolley Trail before returning to Sellwood Bridge and Brooklyn Park.
This event is unsupported with no aid stations and no course markings. The Forest Park stretch, approximately mile 11 to mile 21, is the longest section without opportunities to buy or refill supplies. GPX course files are available for navigation and small route variances are acceptable if the correct bridge crossings are used. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
