Explore Kananaskis Half Marathon & 10 km
The event takes place July 25–26, 2026 at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge in Kananaskis Country, about one hour from Calgary. Registration is limited to 500 participants per day to reduce impact on the trails.
Two paved distances showcase mountain scenery and alpine terrain.

The event follows a Zero‑Trace approach; athletes are asked to carry their own hydration vessel as part of the low impact commitment. A partnership with Friends of Kananaskis Country supports trail care, stewardship, education, and research to help maintain the area's ecological integrity and recreational use.
The Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge serves as the host venue and provides amenities for participants.
