Course and policies
The course starts and finishes a short distance past the train tracks in Cliff Cave County Park. Runners begin on pavement for about 0.5 mile, follow the Spring Valley Trail Outer Loop for about 1.8 miles, then return on pavement for about 0.5 mile. Spring Valley Trail is an all-dirt trail with rolling hills, roots, and rocks; it is described as beginner friendly. The race has a two-hour cutoff.
This is a cup-free, zero waste event. Participants are asked to bring their own mug and a mess kit for post-race coffee and snacks.
