Don's Backyard BBQ 20K/10K Trail Run Challenge takes place at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder, Georgia on May 16, 2026. The presenting sponsor is Dirty Spokes. Registration is limited to 225 participants and there is no race day registration. Registration includes a BBQ meal, a beverage, and a tri-blend polyester shirt; additional meals are available for $20 each. Packet pickup is scheduled for the morning of the race. A course map and GPS data are provided by the organizer.

Course, format and rules
The course uses groomed trails at Fort Yargo State Park with rolling hills. The 20K consists of four separate 5K laps, each lap alternating direction. The 10K consists of two separate 5K laps, each lap alternating direction. Each 5K segment must be completed within 45 minutes (14 minute per km pace); runners who do not finish a segment within that time are recorded as DNF. Segment starts are organized so each 5K follows the previous one.
Entry fees and awards
Entry fees vary by date range: 20K is $65 through May 3 and $75 for the late period; 10K is $45 through May 3 and $55 for the late period. Awards are given for overall 1st–3rd male and female and for overall masters, grandmasters, and senior grandmasters. There are no age-group awards.
