Chicopee Woods WildRUN

Chicopee Woods WildRUN is a trail running event held in partnership with the Elachee Nature Science Center at Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve in Gainesville, Georgia. The event includes multiple trail distances and a separate short loop for children. A parking pass is required to enter Chicopee Woods.

The courses run through woodland terrain and feature rhododendron groves, creek crossings, a 140 foot suspension bridge, and rolling trails covered in pine needles. Course maps are published by the organizers and are subject to change. The 7 mile course has a 3 hour cutoff.

Timed 48 hour, 24 hour, 12 hour and 6 hour events on a USATF certified one mile paved loop at Camp Frank D Merrill in Dahlonega, GA. One aid station supplies food and ice and campsite access opens the Thursday before the event.
