Summit Sundown - Night Trail Race

Summit Sundown is a night trail event at Little Mulberry Park in Dacula, Georgia on July 25, 2026. The event offers two measured trail distances and features notable elevation changes along wooded park trails.

The available distances are:

  • 7.3 Mile roughly 850 ft vertical gain
  • 3.3 Mile roughly 240 ft vertical gain

The 7.3 mile course includes a halfway aid station with bathrooms at the 4.4 mile mark. Top finishers in the 7.3 mile race receive an entry to the Yonah Mountain Vertical Challenge in February. The 3.3 mile course crosses one of the highest points in Gwinnett County and contains the stated elevation gain.

This event is presented as the summer companion to the Summit Showdown held in December. A combined entry option is offered that applies a discount when participants register for both events.
