Devil Dog Ultras : Triangle, VA

Devil Dog Ultras is a trail running event held at Prince William Forest Park (Cabin Camp 5) in Triangle, Virginia on December 5 and 6, 2026. The event offers multiple ultramarathon distances and is organized by a local group of trail runners.

The course is a loop format made mostly of single-track trails with occasional roots, rocks, and brief technical sections. There are also sections of fire road and rolling hills with no substantial climbs. The first loop is 23 miles; subsequent loops are 19.5 miles for the 100 mile and 100K. The 100K completes three loops, the 100 mile completes five loops, and the 50K completes one loop plus a 9 mile loop. The course is described as well marked.

Each loop includes three staffed aid stations (Camp Remi start/finish, Camp Gunny, Camp Toofy) and three unmanned resupply points (RP Alpha, Bravo, Charlie) that provide water only. Crew access is permitted at Camp Remi and Camp Toofy; there is no crew access at Camp Gunny or the resupply points. Volunteers provide on-course support and aid stations offer hot food options.

Time limits are 10 hours for the 50K, 20 hours for the 100K, and 32 hours for the 100 mile. Entry is limited to 300 runners. General registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes November 27, 2026. The 100 mile requires completion of a 50 mile race within the past two years. Refunds and deferrals are not offered; bib transfers are allowed with conditions, a $20 fee, and a November 5 deadline.

A 75‑bed bunkhouse option is available at Camp Remi for registered runners for a $30 total fee for Friday and Saturday nights; beds are allocated first come, first served and participants must vacate by noon Sunday.
