Desert Night Race Series

The Desert Night Race Series is a set of three evening 5K events held once a month through October. Races are staged at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Participants are encouraged to bring headlamps and party lights.

Each live race is a 5K and features chip timing, age group awards, and raffle prizes. Organizers created three different desert-themed medals, one awarded for each race. Entry is limited to 250 spots per race and races may sell out early. Dates for the series events are August 21, September 18, and October 16.

The series supports Child Crisis Arizona; proceeds go toward that organization, whose mission is to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families.

Registration options include a series registration with an early price that includes a free tech shirt for the series while supplies last. Individual race entries have their own fee with a price increase two weeks before each race. A virtual race option is available so participants can complete a course on their own day and time, submit a time by email, and receive a collectible medal; virtual entries remain open until the end of the series or until a race sells out.
