Delano Park Ultra Event

The event is scheduled for March 7, 2026, at Delano Park in Decatur, Alabama. It offers three race categories: 50 Mile Solo, 12 Hour Solo, and 12 Hour Relay.

Race Course

The race is run on multiple laps of a USATF-certified 1.00 mile unpaved path within Delano Park. The course is flat, with a total elevation change of less than 15 feet per lap, and is partially tree-lined. Aid is available on each lap. The average high temperature is 60°F, and the average low is 40°F, but weather can vary.

Logistics and Amenities

There is plenty of space along the course for participants to set up a base camp on the Friday before or on race morning. Permanent bathrooms are available, with additional port-a-potties at the trail side. Packet pickup is available on Friday evening at a church location for a pre-race dinner, or on race morning at the park starting at 5:00 AM.

Registration Details

Registration closes on Friday, March 6. Refunds are not available after January 31, 2026. For those registering by February 23, a personalized finisher plaque with the runner's name and total mileage completed is guaranteed. Each participant receives a race t-shirt and other items.

For the relay event, teams can consist of 2, 3, or 4 persons. Each team member receives an individual plaque, and the team gets a plaque with the team name.
