The Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series includes a Half Marathon and a 10K held at Delamere Forest Visitor Centre, Forest Centre Car Park, Delamere Forest, CW8 2JD, Northwich. The event is organised by BCS Events and takes place on Sunday 27 September 2026. Route formats are: the Half Marathon as two laps and the 10K as one lap. Canicross entries are available for both distances. Race packs must be collected from registration on the morning of the event.

Facilities, logistics and rules

The course is fully marked and chip timed, with aid stations, marshals on route, a lead cyclist for the first lap of the half marathon, and online results. Event features include event photography and an eco-friendly wooden finisher's medal. The event emphasises sustainability: no single-use plastic cups at water stations, use of recycled and biodegradable materials in event set-up, and measures to avoid disturbing wildlife. Runners with dogs are provided with water bowls on course; participants are advised to bring a cup or reusable bottle or use the event reusable cup.

There is no bag drop on site. Parking is available at Whitefield Car Park (charges apply). Delamere railway station is reported to be approximately 800 m from the Linmere Visitor Centre. Volunteers receive free entry to other Wildwood Trail Series events, a T-shirt, and free parking. Age rules: 17+ for the Half Marathon; 10K entrants aged 14 or younger must run with an adult.
