Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series 2026

The Delamere Forest Wildwood Trail Series takes place in the natural surroundings of Delamere Forest, near Northwich. Participants navigate a course composed of forest paths and technical trails, featuring varying terrain such as steep ascents and muddy sections through dense woodland.

The event offers two main distance categories, both of which include options for canicross participation for those running with dogs. The Half Marathon route involves two laps of the designated course, while the 10.6 km distance consists of a single lap.

Available distances:

  • 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
  • 10.6 km (10K)

All race packs are distributed at the registration area on the morning of the event at the Forest Centre Car Park. The course is fully marked and supported by marshals. Participants have access to aid stations along the route and receive chip timing for accurate results. Upon finishing, runners receive finish line snacks and an eco-friendly wooden finisher's medal. Event photography is also provided to document the race.

The venue is located at the Delamere Forest Visitor Centre, which serves as the hub for the day's activities. Registration remains open until the evening prior to the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
