Logistics and rules
This is a pre-entry event only. Closing date for entries and for race swaps is Saturday 28 February 2026. There are no refunds or deferrals. The race is cupless: water is available at designated stations but no disposable cups will be provided; marshals will fill runners' own bottles or cups.
There are water stations and drop-bag points at approximately 8 miles, 16.5 miles (halfway), and 25 miles. Drop bags must be no larger than a large freezer zip bag and clearly marked with the race number. Toilets are available at registration, in Duthie Park, and at Milton of Crathes (approximately 16–18 miles). No support runners are permitted, but meeting someone on course to hand over food or drink is allowed.
Cut offs are set at the halfway checkpoint (approx 16.5 miles) and the 3/4 checkpoint (approx 25 miles). Minimum mandatory kit includes a hat, gloves, full waterproofs (jacket and trousers), and a foil blanket. No required kit means no race entry.
