The Deception Pass 50K and 25K races take place at Deception Pass State Park in Oak Harbor, Washington, known for its rugged coastline, steep cliffs, dense forests, and stunning views. The courses traverse nearly the entire park, including two crossings of the historic Deception Pass Bridge, about 180 feet above water. The 50K features 4,300 feet of elevation gain and loss, with technical, narrow, and twisty trails, while the 25K has 3,000 feet of elevation change. Both races start at West Point Amphitheater and include aid stations stocked with water, snacks, and first aid.
