Course and policies

The course uses loops and out-and-back segments with ocean views. All distances begin to the north on the Rosario head loop with views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, return through the start/finish area, then continue south to a Lighthouse loop and the Lottie Point loop. The 5-mile course is an abbreviated version of the half-marathon and returns toward the finish after Lottie Point. Half and full marathon runners continue to Pass Lake, cross the Deception Pass Bridge to the Goose Rock loop, complete an out-and-back to West Beach, then cross back over the bridge to the finish. Half and full marathon runners cross the Deception Pass Bridge, which is about 180 ft high and remains open to traffic during the race; runners will use the pedestrian walkway.

No refunds are issued for races. Options with applicable fees include deferring entry to the following year, transferring entry to another runner, or switching to another Evergreen event; timing and request deadlines apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
