Fairhaven Frosty
Fairhaven Frosty is a community running event held on December 5 at Fairhaven Park in Bellingham, WA. The event features running and walking options on a course that follows roads and hard-pack trails. The 5K is one lap; the 10K repeats the same loop. Part of the route runs alongside busy roads, and participants are asked to use sidewalks and road margins. There is no road crossing on the course.

- 10K two laps of the 5K route
- 5K one lap on roads and hard-pack trails
- Little One’s Run short kids race in the field by the parking lot
Race amenities include water for 10K runners at the start of the second lap and light refreshments at the finish area. Costume wear is encouraged and spot costume awards will be given. Competitive awards include first place male, female, and non-binary in each race plus age-group ribbons (1st–4th). The Little One’s Run is led by the Bell Creek Nature School and accepts onsite registration the day of the event; kids’ races have free entry for members’ children 10 and under and for the kids’ 1/2 mile race.
Registration is expected to open in October. A running shoe recycling program will collect old shoes at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
