Event Basics

The Dead Horse Ultra takes place in Moab, Utah on November 14, 2026. It offers four race distances: 15K, 30K, 50K, and 50 miles. This event is the second race in the Triple Crown of Moab series.

Course Description

The course uses the Magnificent Seven trail system. It includes technical slickrock sections and rocky climbs. The route features trails such as Gemini Bridges Trail and Bull Run Trail. Runners can see views of Arches National Park, the La Sal Mountains, and the Moab Valley.

Additional Information

This is a cup-less event; aid stations do not provide disposable cups. Runners must use their own bottles, bladders, or reusable cups. Camping is available nearby at the 7 Mile RV Park, a short walk from the start/finish area. Packet pickup is available on the day before the race and on race morning at the start line.

Logistics

Parking is available at the Gemini Bridges parking lot with an overflow lot. A pedestrian path under the highway connects the overflow lot to the start area.
