Arches Marathon and Half
Arches Marathon and Half is a fall trail running event in Moab, Utah taking place on October 3, 2026. The event offers multiple course distances that run through the Behind the Rocks area and nearby desert landscapes.

Courses start near the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area and move along sandy double track that becomes jeep road and connects to desert meadow trails. Runners pass features such as Picture Frame Arch and view the La Sal Mountains along stretches of red cliffs and canyon scenery. The finish line is at the same location as the start.

Aid stations are cup less and feature water dispensers at the start finish and at every aid station for refilling bladders bottles or reusable cups. The organizers publish aid station mileage cutoff times and course limit information. Packet pickup is available the day before and on race day; a photo ID is required to receive a packet. Runners must attach a timing chip to their shoe for a recorded time. Free camping is offered at the Mad Moose Base Camp for participants and accompanying family.
