Arches Ultra is a winter trail race day in Moab, Utah, held January 30, 2027. The event offers multiple distances and uses lower-elevation trails that run along the border of Arches National Park and past Utahraptor State Park dinosaur tracks. Course scenery includes Moab cliffs and the snow-capped La Sal Mountains. Trails vary from smooth sections to technical slickrock and include stretches of sand.
The event uses the Bar M, Klonzo, and Klondike trail systems. Timing is done with a chip that must be attached to the shoe. Aid stations are cupless; water dispensers are provided at the start/finish and at every aid station, so runners must carry a reusable cup or bottle.
The start and finish share the same location at Seven Mile RV Park. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race and check-in is available on race day; a photo ID is required to receive a packet. Entries are non-transferable; goody bags and shirts may be picked up for registered runners who are not present, but bibs cannot be transferred.
