Canyonlands Ultra is a trail running event in Moab, Utah, organized as part of the Run Moab Series by Mad Moose Events. Course terrain includes sandy washes and technical double track with views of the La Sal Mountains, sandstone domes, and canyons. Reported course elevations span from about 4,518 ft to 5,726 ft across the different distances. Sample elevation figures from course materials include Marathon gain 2,608 ft, 50K gain 2,644 ft, 50 Mile gain 5,220 ft, and 100K gain 7,828 ft. The 50 Mile course is described as one marathon loop plus a short loop; the 100K course uses two marathon loops plus a 10-mile loop.
Aid stations are cupless - runners must bring a reusable cup or container; water dispensers are available at every aid station. Packet pickup requires photo ID and entries are non-transferable. All participants receive a race shirt, a BOCO hat, and a finisher's medal. Charity bibs are available through Wander Project with fundraising commitments ranging from $500 to $5,000.
