Crooked Loops Trail Run

The Crooked Loops Trail Run takes place at Independence Oaks Park in Clarkston, Michigan on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The event uses trails around Crooked Lake and passes through hardwood forests and wood chip paths, during the peak of fall colors in the area. All races begin and end near the Twin Chimneys Pavilion.

Age groups are grouped by decades starting at 1–9 and continuing through 80 plus.

The course and park remain open to the public during the event, and participants are expected to be courteous to other park users. Race proceeds support local community and athletic groups and teams.
