Bear Lake Ultra

The Bear Lake Ultra is a timed endurance event held at a camp in Lapeer, Michigan. Participants navigate a 3.1 mile loop for a duration of 24 hours. The course features rolling hills and consists of single-track trails, wide trails, grass sections, and several bridge crossings. Runners and walkers may complete as many loops as they choose at any pace, with the option to take breaks and return to the course at any time during the 24-hour period.

The event provides specific amenities for registered participants, including weekend camping access for tents near the start and finish area. A fully stocked aid station is located at the start/finish line, offering various food items such as soup, grilled cheese, pizza, and fruit. The facility includes heated indoor bathrooms and showers. A dinner is provided on the Friday evening prior to the event for all runners.

This is a chip-timed, cup-less race. Participants who complete 100 miles or more receive a belt buckle, while the top male and female runners with the most completed loops receive a custom pint glass.
