Event Details

The Campfire 5K takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The event includes two race distances: a 5K and a 1 Mile run. Packet pickup and registration opens before the races.

Course Information

Both courses are run entirely on the private grounds of Camp Skyline. The terrain includes wooded trails, fields, and a private dirt road. No public roads are used. The routes feature steep inclines and declines, as well as natural obstructions like rocks and roots. Dogs are not allowed at the event. Strollers and wheelchairs can be used at the participant's own risk due to the course conditions.

Included with Registration

Registration includes professional chip timing by Rotpac Racing and a unique finisher's medal. Post-race refreshments include water and a banana. There is also an opportunity to make a s'more after the race. A race t-shirt is guaranteed only for registrations completed before September 22.

Post-Race and Awards

After the race, Sunrise Susie's Coffee Company will be on-site with beverages for purchase, and the camp kitchen will have other treats available. Awards are presented for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K and for the first-place male and female finishers in the 1 Mile.
