Cornbelt Running Club 24 Hour Run

Davenport, United States • 2-3 May 2026

Event Overview

The Cornbelt Running Club 24 Hour Run is an endurance event held in Davenport, Iowa. The race is conducted on a track where participants have 24 hours to complete as much distance as possible. The field is limited to 60 runners, and registration must be completed by April 15. Proceeds from the event support the CBRC Children's Running Programs.

Race Format and Rules

This is a "go as you please" event, meaning participants are permitted to run, walk, or crawl. Mechanical assistance is prohibited. Runners may leave the track at any time but must notify their assigned lap counters when doing so. To ensure accurate distance tracking, pylons may be placed in the inside lane, requiring participants to use the second lane or beyond.

Volunteers manage lap counting for all entrants. To assist with timing, race numbers must be displayed prominently. It is recommended that runners establish verbal or visual recognition with their lap counter during the event. Lap direction changes periodically throughout the 24 hour period, occurring after the first four hours and every three hours thereafter.

Facilities and Support

Restroom facilities are located within 70 feet of the track. While the race provides water and Gatorade, runners are responsible for their own specific aid and personal handlers. The event organizers work toward securing post-race shower facilities for participants.
