Event Overview

The Schuetzen NEIN! Hour Endurance Run is a nine-hour event where participants aim to complete as many laps as possible. It is organized by Sun Trail Running and the Quad Cities Trail & Ultra Runners. The event takes place at Schuetzen Park in Davenport, Iowa. The format is simple: run for nine hours.

Format

Participants can choose to run solo or as part of a relay team. In the relay (Mannschaft Division), teams of up to three runners take turns, with only one runner on the course at a time. Teams can divide the loops, mileage, or time however they wish. The goal is to cover as much distance as possible within the time limit.

The Course

The course is a 0.85-mile trail loop with approximately 125-150 feet of elevation gain per loop. The terrain includes dirt and chipped rock single-track, sections with stairs, and some short grass sections. The event takes place regardless of weather conditions.

Logistics

The start and finish is at the Jens Lorenzen Pavilion. Check-in begins at 7:00 AM. The event will start promptly at 8:00 AM.

Registration is online only. There is no race morning registration. The event has a no refund and no bib transfer policy. If the event reaches capacity, a waitlist is maintained. A deferral option is available until May 31st, allowing a 100% credit for the following year's event.

Registration Benefits

The registration fee includes aid at the start/finish area with hot food and cold beverages, a custom race shirt, and a donation to Schuetzen Park.
