Case Creek Obstacles – 5K Mud Adventure Run

The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 7625 120th Avenue, Coal Valley, IL 61240. It includes a 5K (3.1 mile) Mud Adventure Run, a Ninja Kids Run and a Cross Country Trail Run.

The race is planned to run rain or shine and will only be postponed if conditions are unsafe; it may be postponed for a while if necessary. If a section is judged unsafe, the Case Creek portion of the course can be bypassed.

The main race area will include at least three obstacles. Named obstacles listed for the main area are Tire Wall, Ninja Scaling Wall, and Weight Lift. There is also a walk of about 1/2 mile to a separate viewing area for a monkey bars over water event. Certain locations allow spectators; spectator entry is $7.
