Sunderbruch B&B Trail Races

The Sunderbruch B&B Trail Races take place at Sunderbruch Park in Davenport, Iowa on May 16, 2026. The event offers trail running on mostly single track dirt trails that are maintained by the local mountain biking club FORC. Online registration is required and a waitlist is used once capacity is reached. There are no refunds or bib transfers.

Course details note that measured distances may not be exact. The shorter course follows mostly green and some blue mountain bike trails and is relatively flat with small rolling inclines. The longer course uses a mix of dirt single track, short sections of wider mowed grass, and a brief parade loop in the parking lot; it includes some steep descents and climbs and technical sections. The course is typically about 90 percent dirt single track. The course closes at the three hour mark and volunteers will be pulled when the last runner passes or at that time.

The event is cup free so participants should bring a personal drinking vessel or carry fluids. Registration includes on course aid, start and finish aid, a piece of custom race swag and a B&B mug for registrants. A post race potluck will provide bacon and craft beer and the race makes a donation to FORC. Packet pickup occurs before race day at designated locations.

A free kids race for ages 10 and under is held prior to the event at packet pickup. Dogs, strollers and bikes are not allowed on the course. Trail closure decisions rest with FORC; if MTB trails are closed an alternate plan uses double track grass, horse trails and paved pathways.
