Davenport, United States • 16 May 2026

Event Overview

The Sunderbruch B&B Trail Races are trail running events at Sunderbruch Park in Davenport, Iowa, presented by Quad Cities Trail & Ultra Runners and Sun Trail Running. The event features two trail running distances: a ~5k and a ~10k. The registration fee covers basic race logistics, on-course aid, a custom piece of race swag, and a post-race potluck with food and beverages. A donation is made to Friends of Off Road Cycling (FORC), who maintain the trails.

Course Information

The course uses single-track mountain bike trails.

  • The ~5k course primarily follows green and blue MTB trails. It is described as fairly flat with rolling inclines.
  • The ~10k course is a mixture of dirt trails, with some sharp descents, climbs, and technical sections. The exact ~10k route varies from year to year. The course is about 90% dirt single track, with some sections of mowed grass and a short loop in the parking lot at the start. The course closes 3 hours after the start. The event is cup-free. Runners are expected to carry their own fluids or a means to fill up at aid stations, and to bring their own vessel for post-race refreshments. A B&B mug is provided with registration.

Registration is online only. There is no race morning registration. A waitlist is maintained if the event fills. Deferrals of an entry to the following year's race are possible if requested by a specified deadline; no refunds or bib transfers are offered. Strollers and pets are not allowed on the course.
