Sunderbruch B&B Trail Races take place at Sunderbruch Park in Davenport, Iowa, on single track and mixed-surface park trails. The event is presented by Quad Cities Trail & Ultra Runners and Sun Trail Running and supports Friends of Off Road Cycling with a guaranteed donation.

Distances offered:

• ~5k course mostly on green and blue mountain bike trails
• ~10k course mixing single track, short grass sections, and a parking-lot parade loop

Courses are measured but may not equal exact road distances. The ~5k is largely flat with rolling inclines. The ~10k includes sharper climbs and descents and some technical sections; its layout has varied year to year. Surface composition is roughly 90% dirt single track with short stretches of wide mowed grass. The course closes at the three hour mark and volunteers will be withdrawn when the last runner passes or at closure.

The race is cup-free. Participants should carry fluids or bring a vessel; each registrant receives a B&B mug and limited collapsible silicone cups will be available for sale at packet pickup. Packet pickup occurs Thursday at Stompbox Brewing, Friday at Sunderbruch Park, and on race morning at the park. A free kids trail race for ages 10 and under is held during Friday packet pickup.

Registration is online only. There are no refunds or bib transfers; a waitlist is used if capacity is reached and a deferral option offers a one-year rollover credit if requested by the April 23 deadline.

Trail closures for weather are decided by the local mountain bike club; an alternate plan B route uses double track, horse trails, and paved park paths if needed. Rules emphasize fair conduct, no littering, and no course cutting; strollers and pets are not permitted on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
