Event Overview
The Conquer the Rock event features two trail runs: the Foothills 50k and the Bear Crawl 25k. Both take place in Table Rock State Park near Pickens, South Carolina.
Course Details
The routes are on steep, rocky trails with a total of approximately 16,000 feet of cumulative elevation change. The course includes summits of Pinnacle Mountain and Table Rock. The 50k consists of two laps, while the 25k is a single loop. The event has an 11-hour time limit for both distances.
Race Day Information
The event is held on March 7, 2026, at Table Rock State Park. The start and finish location is the Pinnacle Pavilion. Park entry fees are covered by registration. Packet pickup is available 90 minutes before the start.
Aid Stations & Requirements
There are several aid stations, including a main station at mile 15 with food and drinks. Water-only stations are located at miles 6, 9, 21, and 24. The event is cup-free, so participants must bring their own vessel. Per loop, participants are required to carry 32 ounces of fluids and 500 calories of food.
