Conquer the Rock 25k & 50k is scheduled for March 7, 2026 at Table Rock State Park in Pickens, South Carolina. The event is part of the Upstate Race Series and offers these distances:

  • 25k Bear Crawl 25k - one loop
  • 50k Foothills 50k - two laps
    Entry fees listed in the race information are $50 for the 25k and $70 for the 50k, with a youth price of $15 for ages 1-17. Registration prices increase after December 1, 2025.

Course, aid stations and policies

The course crosses Pinnacle Mountain and Table Rock and is described as steep and rocky, with a total elevation change of 16,000 feet. Start/finish and packet pickup are at Pinnacle Pavilion. The main aid station and drop bags are located at mile 15. Water-only stations are at miles 6, 9, 21, and 24. The event is cup-free; participants must carry their own vessel. Per-loop mandatory gear includes 32 oz of fluids and 500 calories; failure to carry required gear can lead to disqualification.

Race limits and rules: the 50k has an 11 hour time limit and a 5 hour cutoff at the 15.5 mile aid station; the 25k has an 11 hour cutoff. Transfers and distance changes are allowed through the RunSignUp profile. No refunds or deferrals are offered unless the event sells out. Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age-group medals for multiple age categories.
