Conquer the Rock 25k & 50k
Conquer the Rock is a trail race day at Table Rock State Park in Pickens, South Carolina, held March 6, 2027. The event offers two main distances on mountain trails that include the summits of Pinnacle and Table Rock and about 16,000 feet of total elevation change across the course layout.
Race options:
- 25k Bear Crawl : one loop
- 50k Foothills : two laps
All finishers receive a medal. The 50k has an overall time limit of 11 hours and requires completion of the first lap within five hours or the runner will be moved to the 25k. There are water-only aid stations at two loop locations and a fully stocked aid station at the 15.5 mile mark for 50k participants. Restrooms are available at the start/finish area only. Chip timing with live results and complimentary race photos are provided. Packet pickup, start, finish, parking, and gear storage are located at Pinnacle Pavilion; the Barn is available for item storage during the race. A $5 special use permit fee is charged during registration for park access; spectator gate fees apply. Registration opens September 1, 2026. The first 100 participants receive custom race socks. Group refunds and discounts apply for teams with five or more members. Donations support the Giving Series and 28 local non profit organizations.
