The terrain is a mix of single-track, double-track, and some pavement. The routes pass through towns including Crown King, Prescott, Jerome, Clarkdale, Sedona, and finish in Flagstaff.

Aid Stations and Support

All aid stations provide water, electrolyte drink, sodas, sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. Vegetarian and vegan options are available at all aid stations, with gluten-free options available upon request. Most aid stations also serve a substantial hot meal. The number of aid stations varies by race distance.

Key Requirements

Carrying a GPS-enabled device with the course file downloaded is mandatory for all runners. The event is cupless; runners must carry their own containers for drinks at aid stations.
