Cocodona is a multi-distance trail race series held in early May 2026, with events staged across central and northern Arizona. Distances offered include:

Course and logistics
Course surfaces include single-track, double-track, and pavement; surface distribution varies by distance (for example the 250 shows 45% single-track, 46% double-track, 9% pavement; the 125 shows 79% single-track, 12% double-track, 9% pavement). Key elevation figures: the 250 lists total estimated gain of about 40,667 feet and max elevation near 9,241 feet; the 125 lists gain around 15,015 feet. Aid coverage varies by race: 250 has 21 aid stations and 4 water drops, 125 has 10 aid stations and 2 water stations, 82-mile Mingus has 6 aid stations, and the 39 has 4 aid stations. Aid stations provide water, electrolyte drink, sodas, sweet and salty snacks, fruit, and most will offer a hot meal with vegan options available.
Pacers are allowed on the 250 starting at mile 79 and on the 125 starting at mile 55; multiple pacers may be used but only one at a time and they must sign a pacer waiver at designated aid stations. Pacers are not allowed for the Mingus Traverse and Flagstaff Crest. The course is marked with orange plastic ribbons with black polka dots and WRONG WAY flagging in blue and white; runners are required to carry a GPS-enabled device with the course file.
