The Cocodona series is a multi-distance, point-to-point trail running event across central and northern Arizona. Distances offered include:

The full route for the 250 links Black Canyon City to Flagstaff and passes through Crown King, Prescott, Jerome, Clarkdale, Cottonwood, and Sedona. Dates for the 250 edition are in early May 2026. Course distances may vary slightly each year due to permitting.
Course, support and logistics
The 250-mile course lists an estimated total elevation gain of 40,667 ft and loss of 35,674 ft (2025 data), with a recorded max elevation of 9,241 ft and min elevation of 1,996 ft. Surface mix for the 250 is approximately single-track 45%, double-track 46%, and pavement 9%. Trail systems used include the Black Canyon National Recreation Trail, Prescott Circle Trail, Arizona Trail, Flagstaff Loop Trail, and sections through the Coconino National Forest and Sedona red rock country.
Support includes aid stations stocked with water, electrolyte drink, sodas, sweet and salty snacks, fruit, and most offer a hot meal and vegan options. The 250 course lists 21 aid stations and 4 water drops. The course is marked with orange ribbons with black polka dots and runners are required to carry a GPS-enabled device with the course file.
