Aid stations appear every 3–7 miles and provide water, an electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. The event is run as a cupless race; reusable cups are available at registration and on race day.
Logistics include remote parking and shuttles for some shorter-distance start locations. Crews may support runners at the start/finish and certain remote aid stations; pacers are permitted only at specified aid stations for the 50 mile distance and are not allowed for the 50K. Drop bags are allowed for the 50 Mile and 50K at Spur Cross and for the 50 Mile at Seven Springs; 35K runners have no remote drop bag.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers at each distance and all finishers receive a finisher award. A park entry fee applies per vehicle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
