Clowbridge 5k - NYD! takes place on 1 January 2026 around Clowbridge Reservoir in Burnley. The route is a trail path off the Pennine Bridleway and consists of two anti-clockwise laps from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The course distance is 5 km with about 25 m total elevation. The event is open to people aged 11 or older, with age assessed relative to the event date. Marshals will be present and prizes will be awarded.

Entry, organiser and logistics

Entries open on 9 August 2025 and close on 31 December 2025. The entry fee is £6.50 and entry is managed through the SiEntries system. The event is organised by Run JMC and holds licence ARC 26/0050. Competitors are asked to park sensibly locally; suggested parking is the lower car park at the Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
