Clowbridge 5k - NYD! is scheduled for 1 January 2026. The event is organised by RunJMC and holds licence ARC 26/0050. Entries open on 9 August 2025 and close on 31 December 2025. The minimum age is 11 on the event date. The stated entry fee is £6.50. Monies from the event will be donated to local causes. Prizes will be awarded and marshals will be present on the course.

Course and logistics

The race takes place at Clowbridge Reservoir, starting from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The route follows a trail path off the Pennine Bridleway and consists of two laps around the reservoir run anti-clockwise. The distance is 5 km with approximately 25 m of elevation gain over the course. Parking is available at the lower car park at the sailing club and at Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
